I have enjoyed Remington's (Remi) company for 10 years now.  We have had many ups and downs but we have both learned a lot from each other.  I bought Remi to be my dressage partner and he had a lot of work to get to that point.  He orginally was an Amish buggy horse and I have to admit it was a tough transition to his new career.  I had a wonderful friend and trainer to help me with this transition process.  Please check out her website for training, lessons, and also horses for sale.  www.prattfarm.com

Of course, this exceptional horse came to me at not such a great time in my life.  I had all sorts of fun with him while in high school, showing, lessons, clinics.  However, when I started college I didn't have the time to keep him up, so again my friend took him under her and put alot of training into him.  I was excited to get back to riding after college, my horse now ready to teach me a thing or two.

My mom always said that life is what happens between the plans and that is what happened to me...life.  I am out of college, but it is now my husband's turn to go and even though I have the time, I do not have the money!!  So again I wait.  I don't think Remi will see the show ring again but we are enjoying trail riding and just plain socializing with each other.  I hope after my husband graduates and we are settled to get another horse and continue on with my dressage aspirations.
